The time when Facebook becomes a chore of boredom and anguish only makes me resentful of it's purpose. What is it's appeal when I consistently see everyone moaning and having tantrums over banal things? People can be rude. People can make you angry. But I'm bored of hearing and reading the same 'status updates' from the four hundred or so people, half of which I no longer know.
If I deleted you on Facebook, despite us having not talked once in over four years, it would become a social offence. A literally middle finger to you for not owing the respect for maintaining your friendship through a screen. It's frustrating and yet I still feel compulsed to check upon strangers profiles. The unsaid pattern of Facebook stalking. Everyone does it with a few spare minutes. That's one of Facebook's appeals.
So tempted to delete, and yet there are very few who do.
